The Institute of Mindful Medicine is committed to providing high-quality educational experiences while maintaining clear and fair enrollment policies.
Because our training programs vary in format, scheduling, and level of instructor involvement, cancellation, refund, and transfer terms differ by training option. Please review the policy applicable to your selected program before enrolling.
Because access to the Online Training is provided digitally, the following policy applies:
• Requests for cancellation may be made within 7 days of purchase.
• Refunds within the 7-day period are available only when the course has not been substantially accessed or completed.
• After 7 days from purchase, tuition is nonrefundable.
• Online course enrollment is intended for the registered participant and may not be shared or transferred to another individual.
If you experience a technical issue accessing your course, please contact the IMM team so we can assist you.
Optional Experiential Ketamine Add-On
Participants who purchase the Online Training + Experiential Session option may request one medically supervised ketamine session at our Clearwater clinic.
• Requests to cancel the complete Online Training + Experiential Session package within 7 days of purchase remain subject to the Online Self-Paced Training refund terms above.
• The experiential session must be scheduled and completed within 6 months of the original course enrollment date.
• Participation is voluntary and requires a separate medical evaluation, physician approval, informed consent, and clinical eligibility.
• Purchase of the add-on does not guarantee that the participant will be medically eligible to receive ketamine.
• If the participant is determined to be medically ineligible, the $500 experiential add-on fee will be refunded. The underlying Online Training tuition remains subject to the Online Self-Paced Training refund policy above.
• Failure to request, schedule, or complete the session within 6 months does not qualify for a refund or credit.
• Once scheduled, cancellation or rescheduling requests must be received at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows may result in forfeiture of the experiential add-on without a refund.
• The experiential session may not be transferred to another individual.
• Travel, lodging, and transportation are not included.
Immersive Training is a limited-capacity, 2.5-day in-person experience held in Clearwater, Florida. Because space is reserved specifically for each participant, the following policy applies:
• Cancellations received more than 30 days before the scheduled training date are eligible for a refund.
• Cancellations received within 30 days of training are nonrefundable but may be transferred one time to another available Immersive Training date.
• Cancellations received within 3 days of training are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
• No-shows are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
• Transfers are subject to availability and may be used one time only.
The optional experiential ketamine component included with Immersive Training is voluntary and remains subject to a separate medical evaluation, physician approval, informed consent, clinical eligibility, and clinic availability. Declining the experience or being determined medically ineligible does not reduce the training tuition or qualify the participant for a partial refund or credit.
Private Training reserves dedicated time for Dr. Brent Agin and may involve customized curriculum, staffing, scheduling, and travel arrangements.
• A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve Private Training dates.
• The remaining balance is due 30 days before the scheduled training date.
• Once the final balance becomes due, all tuition paid is nonrefundable.
• Requests to reschedule received at least 14 days before training may be accommodated one time, subject to Dr. Agin’s availability.
• Requests made fewer than 14 days before the scheduled training date may not be eligible for transfer or rescheduling.
• Any travel, lodging, transportation, venue, or other expenses already incurred by IMM are nonrefundable and remain the responsibility of the client.
Private Training dates are not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
While uncommon, the Institute of Mindful Medicine reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a training program due to unforeseen circumstances, instructor availability, insufficient enrollment, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If IMM cancels or reschedules a program, participants will be offered the opportunity to:
• Transfer enrollment to an available future training date, or
• Receive a refund of the applicable training tuition and any unused experiential add-on fee paid if an alternative date cannot be accommodated.
IMM is not responsible for airfare, lodging, transportation, lost wages, or other expenses incurred by participants in connection with training.
For this reason, we encourage participants attending in-person programs to consider flexible or refundable travel arrangements whenever possible.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in the description of a training program:
• Airfare and transportation are not included in tuition.
• Hotel accommodations are not included.
• Personal expenses are the responsibility of the participant.
• Meals are included only when specifically identified as part of the training program.
IMM is not responsible for travel-related expenses resulting from participant cancellations, delays, weather, or changes to training schedules.
When a training transfer is permitted under the policies above:
• The transfer may be used one time only.
• The new training date is subject to availability.
• Enrollment may not generally be transferred to another individual without prior written approval from IMM.
• Any tuition difference associated with changing training formats will be the participant’s responsibility.
