The 2.5-day Immersive Training takes place within Dr. Agin’s working medical practice in Clearwater, Florida. Participants learn directly from real clinical systems and receive broader education across ketamine therapy, functional medicine, lifestyle foundations, IV therapy, hormones, peptides, weight management, and implementation.
IMM currently offers Live In-Person Ketamine Training, Live Virtual Ketamine Training, and Private Customized Training. A self-paced Online Ketamine Training program is also in development and will be available in the future.
IMM training is designed to give clinicians the practical foundation, tools, and systems needed to begin offering ketamine therapy right away. The program focuses on real-world implementation, including patient workflows, documentation, treatment environment, safety, communication, and clinical systems.
The Immersive and Private Training programs also include six months of clinical support, giving participants ongoing access to Dr. Agin and the IMM team as questions arise during implementation.

You may begin with Online Ketamine Training and later choose a more immersive or customized experience as your goals evolve, including deeper clinical implementation and expanded education in functional and integrative medicine topics.
It depends on the program you choose. Ketamine-focused training incorporates IMM’s whole-person approach and addresses factors that influence patient care beyond the treatment itself. The Immersive Training provides the most comprehensive exposure to functional medicine, lifestyle foundations, hormone therapy, IV nutrient therapy, peptides, weight management, and ketamine therapy.
Curriculum varies by training format, but IMM education may include ketamine pharmacology, patient selection and safety, IV and IM treatment frameworks, neuroplasticity, treatment environment, patient preparation, integration, documentation, clinical workflows, and implementation.
The Immersive Training also expands into broader integrative medicine topics such as lifestyle foundations, hormone therapy, IV nutrient therapy, peptides, sexual wellness, and medical weight management.
No. IMM provides a medically grounded, integrative approach to ketamine therapy. Training addresses patient screening, treatment frameworks, safety, neuroplasticity, physiology, lifestyle, treatment environment, integration, and real-world clinical implementation rather than limiting education to a psychiatry- or psychotherapy-centered model.
Eligible participants may complete one optional, medically supervised ketamine session at our Clearwater clinic. The experience is included with In Person Ketamine Training, Immersive Training and available as a $500 upgrade with Virtual Training.
For virtual participants, the session must be completed within six months of finishing the course. Our Program Director will help coordinate medical screening, scheduling, and next steps. Participation is voluntary and subject to physician approval and clinical eligibility, as certain health conditions, medications, or other factors may make ketamine treatment inappropriate.
The experience is designed to provide firsthand insight into the complete patient journey, including preparation, the treatment environment, the session itself, and recovery.
Training covers IV, IM, oral, and intranasal ketamine approaches, including dosing considerations, patient selection, safety, monitoring, treatment planning, and practical clinical use.
IMM training is led by Dr. Brent Agin, a practicing physician with more than 20 years of clinical experience and more than 5,000 personally administered ketamine treatments. Training is based on the clinical systems and approaches he continues to use in active patient care.

Immersive Training takes place in Clearwater, Florida, within Dr. Brent Agin’s working medical practice. This allows participants to learn in the same clinical environment where the systems and approaches taught by IMM are used in real patient care.
No. Travel, lodging, meals outside of those specifically included in the program, and other personal expenses are the responsibility of the participant. If needed, the IMM team can provide recommendations for nearby hotels and local accommodations in the Clearwater area.
